UF to Hold Health Fair

Findlay, Ohio, April 13, 2000 – More than 20 organizations will be represented at The University of Findlay’s Health Fair on Thursday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union Atrium.
There will be vision, hearing, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings as well as oral checks. There will be representatives from the American Cancer Society, Hancock County Extension Office, Lincoln Center, Lupus Foundation of America, Community Partnership, ADAMHS Board, Findlay Smoking Coalition, Blanchard Valley Chiropractic and the American Lung Association. The University will have information tables regarding physical fitness, spiritual health, counseling, women’s issues, disabilities and recreation therapy. Information on cancer care, nutrition and diabetes will also be available.
The event is free and open to the public.
