Findlay, Ohio, April 20, 2000 – The Journal of Public Advocacy, a professional journal of the National Educational Debate Association, has been edited this year by David Foster, associate professor of communication at The University of Findlay.

This journal contained articles from top scholars in the field of argumentation and debate from institutions such as Pennsylvania State University, Southeast Missouri State University, the University of South Dakota, DePauw University and Liberty University. The University of Findlay also was represented by Foster, whose article was included in the journal.

In addition to enhancing the academic reputation of the University, having a scholarly journal published out of UF provided several communication majors the opportunity to assist on the project.
