UF to Host Researcher

Findlay, Ohio, April 7, 2000 – In celebration of Earth Day, The University of Findlay will host a presentation titled “Wetland Management Issues and Solutions as Illustrated by the Florida Everglades” by Paul Wetzel on Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Martin Lecture Hall.

Wetzel is a wetland management and relocation researcher at East Tennessee State University. He earned his doctoral degree from Iowa State University and has conducted wetland research and investigation in New York, Iowa, the Mississippi River Valley and in the Florida Everglades.

The event, which is sponsored by the Oiler Environmental, Safety and Health Organization, is free and open to the public.
