Findlay, Ohio, June 13, 2000 – The University of Findlay will hold auditions for "A Christmas Carol" Monday and Tuesday, June 19 and 20, in Egner Theatre. "A Christmas Carol" is part of the University’s SummerStock Theatre program.

Adult auditions will be held on Monday, June 19, at 7 p.m. Various speaking and singing roles are available.

Auditions for children’s roles will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 10 a.m. There are openings for the roles of Martha Cratchit, 17; Belinda Cratchit, 13, Lucy Cratchit, 11; Fan, 8-10; Peter Cratchit, 15; Albert Cratchit, 12; Tiny Tim, 8-9; Young Scrooge, 10; and Boy with Turkey, 9-11. These are singing roles, some in groups and some solos. All roles have speaking parts.

No prepared material is necessary. The audition will consist of a brief song and scene from the play, both of which will be provided.
