Findlay, Ohio, June 20, 2000 – The University of Findlay has planned a dedication of the Ann E. Bonifas Memorial Plaque on Tuesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. in Henderson Dining Hall.

Bonifas served as catering manager for Marriott Food Service at UF from June 1992 until her death due to an automobile accident in July 1997.

A tree has been planted in her memory, and a park bench will be located outside Henderson Dining Hall in her honor. The Ann E. Bonifas Scholarship Endowment Fund was also established and provides two scholarships per year for students working for food services. Donations toward the fund are still being accepted and can be sent to the Office of Development, The University of Findlay, 1000 N. Main St., Findlay, OH 45840.
