Ohio Business Week Companies to be Judged July 14

Findlay, Ohio, June 28, 2000 – Ohio Business Week, held on The University of Findlay campus, will hold judging for its "companies" on Friday, July 14.
Thirteen groups of students, each having formed their own company during the week, will be judged on that day. Each company will give a PowerPoint presentation, showing their business plan, marketing plan and finance plan. In addition, they will present radio commercials for their companies.
The panel of judges is comprised of business people from the Findlay area. UF President Kenneth E. Zirkle and Vice President for Business Affairs Martin Terry will serve as judges that day. Nancy Whetstone, executive director of Ohio Business Week Foundation, and student members of the OBW companies will be available to speak.
Ohio Business Week is a one-week program designed to teach high school students and educators the inside story on business operations and the principles of the free enterprise system. The advisers and discussion leaders for this program are prominent business professionals from large and small organizations from around the state.
