Findlay, Ohio, Aug. 10, 2000 – The University of Findlay’s Global Campus Web site – gcampus.findlay.edu – has won a Silver Award of Excellence from the 2000 AXIEM (Absolute Excellence in Electronic Media) Awards.

The University’s global campus site, which was designed by Aardvark Media Productions of Findlay, won in the category of “Internet Web Site – Educational.” Together with Aardvark, The University of Findlay has developed this Web site to offer distance learning opportunities and to promote the University in general to a global audience.

The AXIEM Award is a national awards program created to honor those who produce the best in all forms of electronic media. Each entry is judged solely on its own merits against an absolute standard of excellence established for each medium, market and category. Entries do not compete against each other.

More than 1,300 entries were received, and 14 judges determined the winners. Judges are top electronic media industry professionals from throughout the United States.
