UF To Hold Discussion on Menstruation

Findlay, Ohio, Sept. 14, 2000 - Marcia Amstutz, a certified nurse practitioner, will moderate a discussion titled, "Menstruation: Things Your Mother Never Told You" on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 7 to 8 p.m. in The University of Findlay's Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, Malcolm Dining Room.

The discussion will cover menstruation and menstrual disturbances, what is normal and what is not normal. Amstutz, currently in private practice at Wood County Women's Care in Bowling Green, will provide practical advice for women with irregular, painful or heavy menses at any stage of life.

The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. The program is sponsored by The University of Findlay Women's Studies Program.
