Findlay, Ohio, Sept. 6, 2000 – Ellen Fish, associate registrar at The University of Findlay , was named the 2000 recipient of the “Make a Difference” Award at UF.

Fish was selected as a result of recommendations by faculty, staff and students. They cited her for her eagerness and willingness to help students and colleagues and her knowledge of her work.

In her position with UF, Fish is responsible for grade entry and degree audits for all graduate students, degree audits for half the undergraduate students and certification of athletic eligibility. She has been associate registrar since Jan. 1, 2000, and has worked in the Registrar’s Office since 1995. She has been with the University in various other capacities since 1985.

Fish earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Findlay in 1995. She resides in Findlay.
