UF To Host Mazza Holiday Treat & Gift Shop Bonanza

Findlay, Oct. 31, 2000 – The University of Findlay will host the Mazza Holiday Treat featuring Robert Sabuda on Monday, Nov. 13, and Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. and the opening of the annual Mazza Holiday Gift Shop Bonanza. Events will be held in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.

The gift shop will be open Nov. 7-10 and Nov. 13-17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Nov. 11, 12 and 19 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Robert Sabuda has illustrated many well-received books for children, including Arthur and the Sword, A Tree Place, Tutankhamen’s Gift, The Christmas Alphabet and Walden.

On display in the Mazza Collection Galleria is a lino-cut from The Log of Christopher Columbus, showing the bottom of Columbus’ boat as seen from the depths of the ocean. Other art in the collection includes a paper-cut and acrylic on papyrus from Tutankhamen’s Gift.

Tickets for the Mazza Holiday Treat are $3 and will be available at the door, depending on presale.

Tickets ordered by mail will be held at the door for pickup, or tickets may be picked up in the Mazza Office from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. anytime prior to the event.
