Schaffer To Speak At UF Communication Day

Findlay, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2000 - Denny Schaffer, host of the Breakfast Club on Toledo's 92.5 KISS FM, will be the keynote speaker for Communication Day 2000 on Monday, Oct. 16, at The University of Findlay.
Communication Day 2000, which will run from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in UF's Alumni Memorial Union, is free and is open to any high school junior or senior interested in majoring in communication in college. The day will include a continental breakfast, campus tours, course samplers, workshops and a buffet lunch, which will be followed by Schaffer's presentation. A panel discussion and open forum titled "What Can I Do With A Communication Degree" is also scheduled.
Areas of interest that participants will be able to learn more about include print and broadcast journalism, radio and television broadcasting, public relations, health communication, video production, organizational communication and public speaking.
