Findlay, Ohio, Jan. 12, 2001 — The Findlay Chapter of the Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped (SABAH) with hold an informational meeting for parents and volunteers on Sunday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. in The University of Findlay’s Alumni Memorial Union, Endly Room.

This meeting will allow parents and volunteers the chance to learn more about how they can become involved with the Findlay Chapter of SABAH, which includes participants from Hancock and Wood Counties.

SABAH was founded in 1977 by Elizabeth O’Donnell in Buffalo, N.Y. Since then, SABAH has taught 9,000 individuals who have physical, cognitive or emotional challenges to ice skate.
