UF Math Day Planned

Findlay, Ohio, March 12, 2001 — The University of Findlay has planned its 14th annual Mathematics Day for Tuesday, March 27.
A presentation titled "Optimal Stopping of Markov Chains, or How to Play Blackjack" will be given from 10 to 11 a.m. in Ritz Auditorium, Old Main. From 1 to 2 p.m. in Ritz Auditorium, "Mathematical Modeling of Stock Prices" will be presented.
The presenter for the day is Craig Zirbel, professor of mathematics at Bowling Green State University.
