Findlay, Ohio, April 12, 2001 — The Findlay Civic Concert Band will meet for its first rehearsal on Monday, April 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the band room in the Egner Fine Arts Center.

Interested musicians from the community are welcome to join the band. Instruments are available for loan.

This season marks the 50th anniversary of the civic band, and the band’s performances at Riverside Park and will be conducted by Ralph Shell, founder of the band, on June 27.

The band will also perform two other concerts on June 20 and July 11 under the direction of Jack Taylor.
