Findlay, Ohio, May 15, 2001 — The Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped (SABAH) benefit basket auction held May 11-13 at the Findlay Village Mall netted more than $3,000 for the organization.

The event included nine baskets in varying themes. Winners of the baskets were: Evening for Two Basket - LuAnn Kryling, Mother's Day Basket - Betsy Baier, Family Basket - Marianne Thomas, Chocolate Basket - Taryn Bregel, Summer Garden Basket - Dr. Karapondo, Children's Wagon Basket - Ronda Gibson, Auto / Racing Basket - Tiffani Murray, Golf Basket - Pat Thomas and Playstation 2 - Coreen Adolph.

Many local businesses and individuals sponsored items for each of the baskets.

Funds raised will benefit the Findlay Chapter of SABAH, which will offer its first class this fall
