Walk/Run to Benefit SABAH

Findlay, Ohio, Sept. 18, 2001 —The University of Findlay’s physical therapy program will sponsor a walk/run to benefit the Findlay Chapter of SABAH (Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped) on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. on the UF campus.
Operating under the theme "Walk a Mile, Support a Smile," this event will begin with registration at 8:15 a.m. in the cul de sac at the east end of College Street on campus. Those who raise at least $35 in sponsorship will be awarded a t-shirt. Pre-registration is needed to guarantee a t-shirt.

SABAH provides individuals who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the development of ice skating skills and performing in an annual skating program. The Findlay Chapter of SABAH was recently formed, and the first class will begin in January 2002.
