Findlay, Ohio, Sept. 20, 2001 —The Findlay Chapter of SABAH (Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped) will begin its first season in January 2002, not in September 2001 as previously advertised.

Skating sessions will begin in January and run through April. Skating will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Clauss Ice Arena in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. An ice show will be held at the end of the season to showcase the talents of the participants.

SABAH’s Findlay Chapter is still accepting donations and skaters for the upcoming season. For more information, call Jean Folkerth at 434-6945.

SABAH provides individuals who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the development of ice skating skills and performing in an annual skating program.
