Zoologist to Speak at UF

Findlay, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2001 — Dan Rice, the chief zoologist for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will speak on "Rivers as Pathways for Birds in Western Ohio" on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Martin Lecture Hall on The University of Findlay campus.
Rice was the driving force behind the breeding bird survey that was done in Ohio. He is also co-author of "Breeding Bird Atlas of Ohio."
Bird calls and slides will be included. The lecture is free and open to the public.
