Walk/Run/Roll to Benefit SABAH
Friday, March 08, 2002

Findlay, Ohio, March 8, 2002 —The University of Findlay’s recreation therapy program will sponsor a walk/run/roll to benefit the Findlay Chapter of SABAH (Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped) on Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. on the UF campus.

Operating under the theme “We’re Counting on You to Make Dreams Come True,” this event will begin with registration at 9 a.m. at Swale Park off Bolton Avenue in Findlay. All trails for the event are handicap accessible, so everyone is invited to participate.

Those who raise at least $35 in sponsorship will be awarded a t-shirt. Pre-registration is needed by March 22 to guarantee a t-shirt.

To pre-register or for more information, call Lori Colchagoff at 434-5878.

SABAH provides individuals who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the development of ice skating skills and performing in an annual skating program. The Findlay Chapter of SABAH was recently formed, and the first class began in January 2002.
