Findlay, Ohio, April 10, 2002 — A benefit dinner for The University of Findlay’s Gift of Hope Scholarship will be held Thursday, May 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hacienda Restaurant, 1800 Manor Hill Road, Findlay.

Keynote speaker for the event is Findlay Mayor John Stozich. Cost is $30 per person, with a dinner choice of grilled chicken breast or beef burrito.

Currently, the scholarship has raised more than $1,000. The goal is to raise $10,000 so that the scholarship can be endowed and awarded. The scholarship was established by the undergraduate language and culture area at UF and is designed to assist Hispanic students.
