SABAH Plans Ice Show

Findlay, Ohio, April 18, 2002 — The Findlay Chapter of the Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped (SABAH) will hold its first annual ice show on Sunday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the Clauss Ice Arena, Koehler Complex, on the campus of The University of Findlay.

The theme for the show is “SABAH Skates Hollywood,” with participants skating to the music of Sound of Music, Pink Panther and Gone with the Wind. Those participating in the ice show are from the first session of SABAH skaters who began skating together in January.

Tickets for the show are $5 and are available by calling 419-434-4863. There is no charge for parents of SABAH participants or for children age 10 and under.

SABAH provides individuals who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the development of ice skating skills and performing in an annual skating program.
