SABAH will start second season Sept. 29

Findlay, Ohio, Aug. 27, 2002 —The Findlay Chapter of SABAH (Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped) will begin its second season Sept. 29.

Applications for participants and volunteers are still being accepted.

Skating sessions will run through April. Skating will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Clauss Ice Arena in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. An ice show will be held at the end of the season to showcase the talents of the participants.

A skate fitting will be held on Sept. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. For appointments, call Julie Gundy at 419-423-9656. Also on Sept. 8, volunteer training will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Volunteers need to bring their skates and volunteer manuals, if they have them, to the training.
