Honor Society Holds Inductions

Findlay, Ohio, Jan. 30, 2003 —Phi Beta Delta, an honor society that recognizes scholarly achievement in international education at The University of Findlay, inducted seven individuals during its ceremony on Jan. 28.
One student, Kari Myers, a technology management and Spanish major from Newark, Ohio, was inducted. Faculty inductees included the following: Don Beck, assistant professor of English as an international language; Jon Gordon, associate professor of intercultural communication; Kathy Grant, associate professor of sociology and director of the gerontology program; Hiroaki Kawamura, assistant professor of Japanese; Leroy Morgan, assistant director of international academic advising and services; and Jason Slone, assistant professor of religious studies.
Honorary membership in the organization was granted to Kenneth Zirkle, president; John “Skip” Cindric, vice president for academic affairs; Martin Terry, vice president for business affairs; and David Emsweller, vice president for student services.
