Findlay, Ohio, March 21, 2003 —The University of Findlay theatre program will perform the show Our Town April 9-12 at 8 p.m. and April 13 at 6 p.m. in Ritz Auditorium, Old Main.
An American classic, Our Town centers around the relationship of George Gibbs and Emily Webb. Since its first performance in 1938, Our Town has continued to be regarded as one of the best representations of life in American and of the richness of the theatre world. Written by Thornton Wilder, the show is a Pulitzer Prize winner.
The show is directed by Vicki McClurkin, with Andrea Coto serving as assistant director. Cast members include Buzz Dyer as stage manager, Gregg Wozniak as Doc Gibbs, April Walker as Mrs. Gibbs, James Baker as Mr. Webb, Chelsea Riggs as Mrs. Webb, Megan Lyon as Emily, Kurt Aller as George, Christine Hollington as Rebecca, Brandon Beck as Wally, Josh Hilborn as Professor Willard, Corey Woodcock as Simon Stimson, Matt Dennis as Constable Warren, Larry Gifford as Joe Stoddard, Nick Toland as Sam Craig, Julie Lane as Mrs. Soames, Matt Harris as Joe Crowell and Si Crowell and Kevin Shields as Howie Newsome. Briana King, Angela Fruth and Andrea Coto will play first, second and third dead woman, respectively.
