Findlay, Ohio, April 7, 2003 — Ms. Xu Xi (pronounced Shoe-She) will give two presentations at The University of Findlay on Thursday, April 10, and Friday, April 11.

“Dealing with Multiculturalism on a Personal Level” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, in the Alumni Memorial Union, North Multi-Purpose Room. On Friday, April 11, at noon in the Alumni Memorial Union, Endly Room, the presentation will be “Using the Arts and Creativity in the Business World.”

Xu Xi comes from a Chinese-Indonesian family and is one of Hong Kong’s leading novelists. Her books include The Unwalled City, Hong Kong Rose, Daughters of Hui and Chinese Walls. Her latest work is a collection of short stories titled History’s Fiction.

The presentations are sponsored by the University’s Convocations Committee and are free and open to the public.
