Findlay, Ohio, Feb. 17, 2004 — The University of Findlay’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) earned two national awards from PRSSA’s national conference.

The chapter was selected best in the country for chapter development and service and received a community/university service award.

UF-PRSSA was cited as "little but mighty" by the judges, who commented on their "impressive presentation." The judges applauded the "strong showing by a new, up-and-coming chapter" and were "extremely impressed by accomplishments and teamwork, given the number of members."

PRSSA at The University of Findlay is just four years old and maintains 10-20 members each year. It was launched in 2000 by Jeanette Drake, associate professor of communication, along with Jim Little, who serves as professional adviser.
