Poetry Reading Planned at UF

Findlay, Ohio, March 15, 2004 — A poetry reading by Ray McNiece will be held
Wednesday, March 31, at 8 p.m. in the Endly Room, Alumni Memorial Union, at The University of Findlay with a reception and book signing to follow.
McNiece has earned a national reputation as a poet and performer with almost 20 years through his solo theatre pieces, poetry and music shows, captaining of two National Poetry Championship teams, educational children shows and workshops and yearly country-wide tours of performance poems, stories and songs.
The author of three books, two solo theatre works, two music/poetry shows and several theatrical collaborations, McNiece was awarded an artist residency at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in 2001 and at the Kerouac House in Orlando in 2002. His books The Road The Carried Me Here and Songs that Fathoms Home: Poems are printed by Bottom Dog Press.
