36th International Night is April 2
Friday, March 26, 2004
Findlay, Ohio, March 26, 2004 — Entertainment, food, display booths and an international market will highlight The University of Findlay’s 36th International Night April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Malcolm Athletic Center, Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.
Operating under the theme “You Can See the World From Here” and coordinated by Leroy Morgan, assistant director of international academic advising and services, International Night will feature involvement by students from 15 different countries.
Visitors to this year’s international night will notice a couple of changes. The food this year will feature cold, sample-size offerings. Also, each country has the same size booth this year.
An international market featuring internationally themed items for a reasonable price will be featured. All proceeds will benefit the International Student Scholarship Fund.
From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., about 1,600 third through eighth graders will visit booths set up for International Night and learn about the different cultures.
International Night is free and open to the public.
