Findlay, Ohio, March 29, 2004 — The University of Findlay’s Student Government Association and Greek Life will sponsor a performance by the band OAR Wednesday, April 14, in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. Doors open at 7 p.m.

In five years, OAR, or Of A Revolution, ascended from its roots as a fraternity party band at The Ohio State University to a national headliner. Often compared to the Dave Matthews Band, OAR’s upbeat rock and reggae-style music has earned a strong following after its formation in 1998. OAR hit the big time with the song “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker” and signed with Atlantic Records. In May 2003, the band jumped into the big leagues with its major label debut In Between Now and Then.

Ticket sales for the public begin April 1. Cost is $25. Tickets can be purchased with cash through the Office of Student Services in Old Main at UF or at Finder’s Records & Tapes in Findlay and Bowling Green. All seats are general admission.
