Findlay, Ohio, March 8, 2004 — SummerStock at The University of Findlay will hold auditions for community members, college interns and high school apprentices on Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre, Egner Center for the Performing Arts.

Auditions will consist of two prepared pieces - one memorized monologue and 16 bars of a music theatre song. An accompanist will be provided. Total audition length should not be more than 90 seconds, and those interested in auditioning must call to sign up for an individual audition time.

SummerStock also seeks applicants for box office personnel, carpenters, electricians and properties supervisors.

SummerStock is a non-equity professional theatre that presents three productions in stock every July and August. The shows for this season are Always…Patsy Cline July 7-11, Wait Until Dark July 21-25 and City of Angels Aug. 4-8.

Rehearsals begin June 8 and are held each Tuesday through Saturday in one or more of the following time slots: 9 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
