Findlay, Ohio, April 21, 2004 — The University of Findlay, Defiance College, Heidelberg College, Bluffton College, Tiffin University and Ohio Northern University have collaborated to offer an Office Support Staff Spring Conference April 28 on the campus of The University of Findlay.

The theme for the conference is “Actions Speak Louder Than Words” and will include a workshop by Jan Hargrave, professional speaker, educator, international consultant and author. She will teach participants how to tell if someone is lying, how the body can communicate confidence to others and what body language communicates. The afternoon session will include a presentation titled “Your Tomorrow” by Robert Knowles, a writer, speaker, entrepreneur and business consultant who specializes in leadership development, team building and communications.

The conference gives office staffs from each of the six colleges a chance to meet and network. More than 150 employees are expected to attend.
