Findlay, Ohio, July 15, 2004 – The second play in The University of Findlay’s SummerStock 2004 program, Wait Until Dark, opens July 21.

Wait Until Dark will be staged July 21-24 at 8 p.m. and July 25 at 6 p.m. in the John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts.

Frederick Knotts’ Wait Until Dark is a suspenseful thriller in which a mysterious doll brings together a blind woman, two ex-convicts and a criminal. Tension runs high throughout the play, culminating in the final act, which is staged in darkness.

Wait Until Dark stars Josh Hilborn as Mike Talman, Chris Ikner as Sgt. Carlino, Tony Smithey as Harry Roat, Jr., Gayle Lopez as Susy Hendrix, Scott Hayes as Sam Hendrix and Kalyn Starkey as Gloria. Nikki Marie Coe and Nicholas Toland appear as police officers. Jefferson Slinkard directs the play.
