Findlay, Ohio, Aug. 27, 2004 – More than 45 local businesses will participate in The University of Findlay’s third annual Market on the Mall on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The event, which acquaints students, faculty and staff with new and established Findlay-area businesses, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Cory Street Mall. In case of rain, Market on the Mall will be held in the Alumni Memorial Union.
Some of the businesses include LaRiche Chevrolet-Cadillac, Mad Hatter Screen Printing and Embroidery Ltd., Sky Bank, Millennium Pizza, the Hot Spot, Findlay Village Mall, Cellular Central, the George House, Findlay United Karate Systems and Cracker Barrel.
Individual businesses will sponsor raffles and giveaways and pass out coupons and free samples.
The event, co-sponsored by the Office of Development and the Office of Student Activities and Commuter Student Services at UF, provides businesses with a yearly opportunity to reach University students on campus. UF holds a no-solicitation policy during the rest of the year. Business participation in Market in the Mall is free.
