Findlay, Ohio, Sept. 27, 2004 – Rebecca Shell has been hired as public relations officer by The University of Findlay.

Shell will serve as a writer and editor for a variety of campus publications, and she will assist with media relations duties.

Previously she served as media relations coordinator for The University of Toledo. Shell was also a news reporter for WBCO/WQEL Radio in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Shell holds a master’s degree in business administration with a marketing emphasis from UT. She is also a graduate of UF with a bachelor’s degree in communication with emphases in public relations and corporate communication.

She is an executive board member of the Northwest Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and she is a member of the Press Club of Toledo and is chair of its Touchstone Award Committee.

Shell is a native of New Washington, Ohio.
