Children’s Book Author and Illustrator to Speak in Upper Sandusky

Findlay, Ohio, Oct. 11, 2004 – Children’s book author and illustrator Julie Mammano will discuss her career Monday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Upper Sandusky Community Library.
Mammano, the author and artist of “Rhinos Who Surf,” “Rhinos Who Skateboard” and “Rhinos Who Play Baseball,” among others, will talk about how the different disciplines in writing and illustrating children’s books work together.
Her presentation is appropriate for adults and children. It is free and open to the public.
“It is my hope that all who attend my presentations, especially kids, will come away inspired to create their own stories,” Mammano said.
Mammano, who lives in California, will speak in Upper Sandusky in conjunction with her keynote speech at The University of Findlay’s Mazza Weekend Institute Nov. 12-13.
