Findlay, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2004 – The Findlay chapter of the Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped (SABAH) will hold a One Mile Walk or 5K Run Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10:30 a.m.-noon, at Riverbend Park in Findlay.

Participants are asked to raise money for SABAH by having friends and relatives sponsor their running or walking.

To pre-register for the event, participants are asked to send collected money and a registration form to The University of Findlay, PT Dept.; Attn: Jean Weaver, 326 College St., Findlay, OH 45840.

Forms may be picked up at the College Street address.

Runners and walkers may also register the day of the event from 10-11 a.m. at Riverbend Park Pavilion #6. Collected money is due at registration.

T-shirts will be presented to all participants who raise $30 or more. Pre-register to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
