Langston Appointed Director of Admissions

Findlay, Ohio, Oct. 6, 2004 – Randall Jay Langston has been named director of admissions at The University of Findlay, effective Oct. 1.

“We are very pleased to have Randall joining our staff,” Vice President for Student Services Dave Emsweller said. “He brings a wealth of enrollment management experience with him that will greatly benefit The University of Findlay.”

Langston has worked for the University of Denver since 1999. His most recent position was associate director of admissions/southern regional director, in which he was responsible for the university’s admissions from 16 states. Under his direction, Texas became the number-two market for applications to the university. He also served as assistant director of admissions at the university from 1999-2002.

Langston was an admissions representative for the University of Northern Colorado from 1997-98.

A 1994 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Langston went on to earn a master’s degree in higher education administration with a specialization in college student personnel administration from Texas Tech University in 1995.

Langston is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
