Findlay, Ohio, Nov. 29, 2004 – Seventeen students from The University of Findlay will present a studio piano recital Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in Old Main’s Ritz Auditorium.

The performers, students of University piano instructors Marge White and Eleanor McCoy, will present classical and Christmas piano solos.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.

The University has six performing musical groups – Marching/Pep Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Concert-Chorale and University Singers.

The University of Findlay offers a minor in musical arts, which requires 24 semester hours of coursework. Students may take classes in a variety of courses, including Music for the Primary Teacher, Elementary Music Theory, Rock Music Styles and private vocal and instrumental lessons.
