Findlay, Ohio, Nov. 5, 2004 – The University of Findlay’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization will sponsor a presentation, “Does Oil Matter?,” Monday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary TLB Foundation Convocation Center.

A.F. Alhajji, Ph.D., professor of economics at Ohio Northern University, will speak about gas and oil prices, U.S. energy policy and the occupation of Iraq.

The public is invited to attend the event. Admission is $1.

SIFE is a non-profit organization active on more than 1,600 college and university campuses in 40 countries. SIFE teams teach free enterprise principles through educational outreach projects.

Last year’s Findlay SIFE team finished as second runner-up in League 1 among four-year institutions at the national SIFE competition in Kansas City, Mo.
