Findlay, Ohio, Dec 15, 2004 – Dr. Ted Alex, associate professor of marketing at The University of Findlay, has been honored as an “Excellence in Education” award winner by the “Ohio Magazine.”
Alex has been recognized in the magazine’s December issue for his contribution and dedication to achieving excellence in education. The annual award celebrates higher learning and recognizes distinguished professors across the state for making a difference in students’ lives in, and out of the classroom.
Alex has taught in The University of Findlay’s College of Business since 1992. He founded and served as director of the University’s MBA program, and developed UF’s MBA online programs. Previously, Alex was dean of the College of Business. According to the magazine, he has helped hundreds of student achieve academic and career success over the past 12 years.
Active in the business community, he is the author of 11 academic journal articles and 31 professional presentations.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and a doctoral degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas.
