Motivational Speaker to Discuss ‘War on Stress’ at UF
Monday, December 06, 2004
Findlay, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2004 – Motivational speaker and author Bruce Boguski will discuss “Successful Living in a Guerilla World” at The University of Findlay Thursday, Dec. 9 from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
According to Boguski, recent world events such as the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and unrest in the Middle East have made it extremely difficult for Americans of all ages to live without significant pressure and stress. In his presentation, he will teach participants to battle the “war on stress” by creating a powerful belief in themselves, by learning through exercises to control their emotions and to develop relaxation and concentration methods.
The presentation, which will take place in the Martin Lecture Hall in the William B. Brewer Science Hall, is free and open to the public. However, pre-registration is required. To register, call the Office of Student Activities and Commuter Student Services at 419-434-4606 or e-mail studentactivities@findlay.edu.
