The University of Findlay Accepted to Common Application Listing

March 29, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay has been accepted to the Common Application Inc., which enables potential students to complete one common application form and send it to any of the 255 participating colleges and universities.

According to Randall Langston, UF director of undergraduate admission, being accepted to Common Application simplifies the college application process for students interested in attending UF. “The University of Findlay is proud to become a member of the Common Application. The Common Application helps to demystify the application process and being included in the listing will make one stop shopping for college a reality for our prospective students,” he said.

Membership in the Common Application group is limited to colleges and universities that:

Are four-year, non-proprietary institutions that require objective as well as subjective criteria for admission;

Are accredited by a regional accrediting association;

Seek a diverse student body; and

Adhere to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Statement of Principles of Good Practice and are members in good standing in the NACAC.

The University of Findlay is a four-year comprehensive university located in Findlay, Ohio, about 45 miles south of Toledo.
