Findlay, Ohio, March 2, 2005 – Burn rehabilitation specialist Paula Rasnick will speak at The University of Findlay on Friday, March 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary TLB Auditorium Center.

Rasnick is the center coordinator of clinical education and a burn clinical specialist for the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Rasnick’s talk is an educational opportunity for area physical therapists, rehabilitation professionals, students and faculty.

Her presentation will focus on a variety of topics pertaining to the physical therapy rehabilitation of clients with burns. Some topics to be covered are: positioning programs; management of contractures and hypertrophic scars, edema control techniques, and other intervention considerations.
