Fiction Reading Planned at UF

Findlay, Ohio, April 12, 2005 — A fiction reading by David Essinger will be held Thursday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in the Malcolm Dining Hall, Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, at The University of Findlay.
An assistant professor of English at UF, Esssinger will read from his short fiction works. His fiction writings have been published in “Folio,” “Denver Quarterly” and “Vincent Brothers Review.” He has written a novel, “A Near-Life Experience,” and he has begun writing a second novel based on his experiences working as a dog walker.
Essinger holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a master’s degree in fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
