UF Students Present Instrumental Recitals

Findlay, Ohio, April 12, 2005 – Sixty-three students from The University of Findlay will present instrumental recitals April 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. in Old Main’s Ritz Auditorium.
The performers, who will play woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, will present solo and ensemble interpretations of a variety of classical and jazz pieces.
Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.
About the Music Program at UF
The University has six performing musical groups – Marching/Pep Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Concert-Chorale and University Singers.
The University of Findlay offers a minor in musical arts, which requires 24 semester hours of coursework. Students may take classes in a variety of courses, including Music for the Primary Teacher, Elementary Music Theory, Rock Music Styles and private vocal and instrumental lessons.
