Findlay, Ohio, April 12, 2005 – The University Singers, The University of Findlay’s show choir, will present its spring concert on Saturday, April 23 at 3 p.m. in Old Main’s Ritz Auditorium.

University Singers is a “pop group” that performs for University and community functions. Select membership is by audition.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.

About Music at The University of Findlay

The University has six performing musical groups – Oiler Brass, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Concert-Chorale and University Singers.

The University of Findlay offers a minor in musical arts, which requires 24 semester hours of coursework. Students may take classes in a variety of courses, including Music for the Primary Teacher, Elementary Music Theory, Rock Music Styles and private vocal and instrumental lessons.
