Holocaust Expert Speaks at Senior Forum

Findlay, Ohio, April 22, 2005 – Dr. Norbert Kampe, director of the Wannsee Conference Memorial and Education Site, will speak at The University of Findlay’s Senior Forum on Wednesday, April 27 at noon in the Alumni Memorial Union.

The site, located in Wannsee, Germany, was used as a Nazi SS guesthouse between 1941 and 1945. In 1942 the SS, the Nazi Party and other German governmental agencies met in Wannsee to discuss plans for the deportation and murder of all European Jews. The site is now used as a memorial and offers a permanent exhibition, a library and a place for educational work.

The cost for the program is $3.50, payable at the door. A buffet lunch will be offered at 11:30 a.m. for an additional cost of $5.00.
