UF to Hold OSHA Workshops

May, 12, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay’s School of Environmental and Emergency Management will hold several workshops on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) regulations and compliance guidelines on May 18-19.

Courses offered include: 16-Hour OSHA Disaster Site Worker Certification, 10-Hour OSHA Construction Compliance, 10-Hour OSHA General Industry Compliance, 8-Hour Hazwoper Refresher, 8-Hour Incident Command Refresher and 8-Hour Public Health and First Receiver Preparedness.

The workshops are designed for contractors, local emergency planning personnel, government officials, construction managers, hospital and health care staff, emergency managers and others. Fees range from $165 to $425 per course.
