Aug. 18, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – Thirty-nine local businesses will participate in The University of Findlay’s fourth annual Findlay’s Market on the Mall, Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Cory Street Mall in the center of campus. The rain site is the Alumni Memorial Union.

During the event, area businesses will sponsor raffles, give-a-ways, pass out coupons and provide free samples of products to the University community.

Businesses participating are diverse, ranging from banks, credit unions, car dealerships, eateries, coffee houses, large and small retailers, car rental agencies, specialized workout facilities, gyms, travel agencies and visitor’s bureaus.

UF holds a no solicitation policy. “Findlay’s Market on the Mall” is the one day during the academic year where local for profit businesses are invited to visit the UF campus, meet and greet the new, returning, international students, faculty and staff.
