Aug. 25, 2005, Findlay, Ohio – To celebrate the start of the school year and welcome new and returning students to campus, The University of Findlay will host a number of campus activities for the students Aug. 27 through Sept. 3.
The activities include:
New Student Orientation Activities – Saturday, Aug. 27, beginning at 8:30 a.m.;
New Commuter Student Mixer – Saturday, Aug. 27, 9-10 a.m. and 1-2 p.m., in the Rosewood Room, Henderson Dining Hall;
New Student Service Project – Saturday, Aug. 27, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Survival Bingo – Saturday, Aug. 27, 2-4 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union;
Arch Ceremony – Sunday, Aug. 28, 5 p.m.
U.S. Army Climbing Wall – Sunday, Aug. 28, 6-11 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 29, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Cory Street Mall;
Findlay’s Market on the Mall – Tuesday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Cory Street Mall;
Campus Ministries Church Open House – Wednesday, Aug. 31, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union Multipurpose Room;
PAWN Concert – Friday, Sept. 2, 6-8 p.m. Cory Street Mall. The concert is co-sponsored with Faith Community Church; and
UF Oilers v. Hillsdale College football game – Saturday, Sept. 3, 7 p.m. at Donnell Stadium.
